I installed my Injen intake tonight. The sound is amazing!!!! It was an extremely tight fit and I recommend wrapping the tube in plastic or something to protect it upon installation. I made up a bracket to move the vibramount because otherwise my fender would have been extremely pushed put. This also allowed for proper clearance of the hood bracket. The whine of the supercharger was worth every penny.

I installed the injen short ram in my cobalt in about 10 mintues...it looks great and was a pleasure to install. i installed a k&n on the gto (i know 2 different cars...but ya' know) it goes well with the red car but i still like the polished look under the hood and it was a bit of a b*tch to install

Injen CAI for 2.2L
Please make sure we know which system you are using, what it is installed on and if it is a short ram or full CAI.
I purchased the Injen CAI for my 2.2L for about $215 during a special promotional offer from TurboTech. I got the black for my black car. I am installing it tomorrow as a full CAI. It can be used in either short ram or full CAI; everything comes with it to be used in either configuration. I'll add more after the install.
Injen says that the kit adds 8.4HP and 7.8 ft/lbs.
I was originally wanting the AEM CAI, but it added more HP on the Cavalier 2.2L application than it does on the 2.2L Cobalt. The AEM CAI for the 2.2L Cobalt adds I think I remember 4.8HP; don't quote me on that.

i have the k&n and the cel is on about 40% of the time but the whine of the supercharger and the performance is deff worth it. I also got to feel the diff. recently because of another problem i had with the timing chain tensioner. I took off the K&N and put the stock one back on just so the dealer couldnt **** me, but anyways going from the K&N to stock you could easily feel the diff. in peformance. Thank god i put it back on now and i get to hear that awsome whine.

I've been considering the Fujita F5 for my 2.0L SS SC but it is quite expensive ( $299 also comes with pointless stuff like a duffle bag). Does anyone have fujita or experienced the quality of their products?
BTW i bought a cheapass AEM CAI for my Jetta, i will not make that mistake again.

any intake on this car will throw a CEL its all in time.
I say airbox mod, same thing, been proven its the same thing, and its cheaper.
All the CAI use metal, the stock intake is plastic, which is more effecient.
