Two Tone?
so my friend, does vinyls on cars and wants to put a 2-tone job on my car. it is warrantied stuff and lasts for 7 years. i dont know if i can disclose the price, but it is cheap, very cheap. so i had a pic of my car photoshopped and i think it looks good. thanks to bumblebee for the photoshop job. i also need a pin stripe line to break it up a bit so i asked for a black and a white line to do done on it.
this is the same stuff i would be likely doing it in http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...0Postcom-1.png it would have that finish with this color: http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...Series1080.png http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...pple/qEmnL.jpg http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...pple/CbRtG.jpg http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...pple/Exy78.jpg this one is my favourite one: http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...pple/BMRDo.jpg so what your opinion on it? |
The Bottom one is deff the best of the 4. but i dont think i would do it, It needs to be a Darker Gray, darker than the red on the bottom, with a white stripe
whatever you do dont do the tan hahah
ya there was a yellow one, but i dont wanna rep mcdicks. the first pic, of the dash trim is the color it is
I don't know that I'd do vinyl, but I do like the color combination.
vinyl cause its cheap, and removable
I know it's cheap, but I've never seen a car wrapped in vinyl that looked really good.
Don't be the guy that everyone points at, know what I mean? |
Just remember it may be removable but unless you avoid the sun 24/7 it will still be 2 tone after a year+ once removed!
i live in canada, there is no sun lol. but i probably would only keep it on for like a year or two so it shouldnt be to noticeable when it comes off. im trying to photoshop it myself and make it darker, but i just fail lol first time using ps. downloaded the free trial
the guy who does the vyniling for us is a highly talented guy with good materials. he did a wrap of his car a few years back and looked just as if it was painted, no creases nothing.
what do you think of it steve?
not too shabby, the darker grey has a better contrast with the maroon and just over all looks better.
ya i dont know how dark, the darkest grey is, but it has real metal in it apparently.
edit: this is the color. its from a site so its might not be perfect but its close http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...Series1080.png |
ya i think the darker grey would be the better choice.
do something like this lol
https://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d...eeze/sig12.jpg i dunno why, but i really like it |
^ i like it cause its different
im not going for that kind of look though, but its the same concept, 2 major bodies of color, with a light color in between them to break them up and make it flow better.
im gonna try my hand at ps to get different colors
