We want led g5 tails

This is for all of us G5 owners. We want LED taillights just like the ones they make for the sedans! I really cant believe they never made them. I was going to order LED bulbs but i just keep waiting hoping they will come out with them which i never think they will

I think those LED bulbs in stock taillights are **** compared to an actual LED setup.

The actual led cobalt taillights would look good in the housing.if somebody would do that I'd buy em.sucks that nobody makes any true led taillights

I had Spider Lights when I still had the G5. I sold them to Springer.

Before I wrecked the G5, I was debating on buying LED tails from Walmart for trailers, opening the housings (somehow) and retrofitting them in.

Is there a way to make a clear lens that'll go over the housing instead of going back with the red lens?

if there was a clear lens over the black i would be able to mount the g5 tail light housing over the cobalt tail light (theres a hex screw that i need to get to to make it sit properly) i know i can put a lens over it buti dont have the equipment or the time to do it... but also when typing this i do have an idea that i might try once i get the chance... thanx guys you've helped me

they arnt mounted together, the cobalt light is held on by the regular 3 nuts in the trunk but the black piece is just this:

and they are held on by the regular hex nut under the trunk lid and another one i added at the point (you can see the screw in the picture i posted before, if there was a clear lens over everything i wouldnt be able to get to the screw to mount it properly, but my idea should make it so i wont need it if all goes well

EDIT: also i dont have the red lens's anymore, they broken

OP... Take a blow dryer, open your tails, and put LED's inside. I promise you it's not that hard.
