Yet another timing chain tensioner q!

Hello im looking to change my timing chain tensioner. Called up to get the part number for the newest timing chain tensioner and the dealer didnt know what i was talking about. Secondly i asked about the installation of the tensioner being that there are mixed views on here, some people say plug and play, others say take off valve cover blah blah blah. The dealer also didnt know what i was talking about.

So my question is what is the,
1)Part # of the newest tensioner
2)What is the correct way to install this bad boy

Thanks for the help!

Ecotec Timing Chain Tensioner 12608580 - Crate Engine Depot

I'm pretty sure that is the revised one, I'm sure someone will chime in who knows for sure.

OP, it sounds like you need a different dealer as well. They are in the service biz, right???
