LNF S257 install

I picked up an s257 builder kit from OTTP. I'm going to be posting pics and updates on my install here so if anybody has any tips it would be greatly appreciated. I know the AC line will be difficult to work with but I should be able to bend it to the firewall.

Did you watercool your wastegate? From what I understand, it's only necessary if your racing

No problems at all with the turbo itself. Ive had mine on 3-4 engines and it outlasts the engine every time.

Water cooling the wastegate is only really necessary if the gate is wrapped up in the manifold runners. Since ours sits right on top, it stays relatively cool. Ive personally never seen a water cooled gate on a cobalt.

For the intake side, how would one intake? OTTP told me I had everything I needed in the kit to work with my setup lol. Running a Hahn intake. I believe it's 2 inches

You need a 3.5” intake. I made my own because there arent really any options for it.

ok mike..im definitely gonna write a how to on doing this setup, cause you need it, and so do others. your gonna need a few more parts for this setup buddy. you only have half of it. ill try to do it with pics, but I didn't take many detailed ones of it all coming together. time to get a proper how to, so people can do their setups right and not have their car down while they order more parts.
