Battery is dead, key stuck in ignition, other key wont open trunk....

Please help..

Just tried jumping the car with no luck.
The key is stuck in the ignition, and there is absolutely no power so i cant push the buttom to open the trunk.

The spare key also will not seem to open the trunk which doesnt make any sense.. but it just wont turn.
My keys will open the doors to my car, but not the trunk..

I obviously need to get into my trunk if i want to replace the battery...but i cant. So what do i do?

Under the steering column there is a cover that prys open with a flathead screwdriver. There will be a lever that you can push to get the key out of the ignition. Here's a link to a picture that is not mine Key Release Photo by Coby007 | Photobucket

And your other key, the one not stuck in the ignition, is likely a valet key, only works on the door locks and ignition.

Or if it's not a valet key the lock cylinder in the trunk is seized.

The trunk can't be sensitive to the chip. If it were, then you wouldn't be able to replace a completely dead battery.

In other words, I have been able to open the trunk without a battery in the car.

You likely had a chip key cut and the trunk didn't like it.

Sorry i meant to say whoever cut your spare key, probably did a crappy job and the new key doesn't work in the trunk because of that.

Get a person with skinny arms and have them shove it through the backseat to push that button to pull down the seats. Then pull the glow in the dark trunk release.
