Boost leak?

Hey sorry i am new to the forums! Idk if i am posting in the correct place. I have a 2009 cobalt ss/tc LNF i have recently experienced what i believe to be a boost leak not sure. One day i was driving normally when all of a sudden i felt a power lost and my boost gauge would not go past vaccum and you will hear a hissing sound as if the wastegate would be open and not letting the turbo build boost. Once i do WOT it will hold boost but thats pushing the turbo. Anyone experienced this or have an idea of what could be causing this. I have no CEL! Any help would be appreciated.

CEL might not be there yet but you should still check the codes. The intercooler is commonly known for cracking the plastic end tanks if youre running more than stock boost with the stock intercooler.

The car is mostly stock. Only has a k&n cold air intake and injen intercooler piping and stock intercooler. I have checked my intercooler no cracks on it. It's werid bc i had the car for 6 months and it just happened. I was wondering if it could be my wastegate rod sticking or it being loose but idk how that could happen.
