Breaking up in boost!!
I have a stock 06 lsj except for intake, anything above 4k it runs like crap(to rich). I've replaced maf, o2 sensor 1, boost actuator, plugs(gapped). Also I have a scanner and it will hold 8lbs all the way up to redline won't go above the solenoid works, I've tested it but could it be on it's way out?? I'm guessing it's running to rich cause it's missing four lbs. But can anyone give me any ideas Ive checked nearly everything I'm going crazy lol thanks PS I'm new I have no idea how this site works oh and I'm almost positive there's no vaccum leaks I've Checked most of them but u never know

Yes I do. It was doing it before the intake swap but got a little better with the new maf. It's weird you can't go more than half throttle and you can feel it start getting sluggish cause it's just so dmn rich plus gas mileage is garbage

the motor is not going to start misfiring or breaking up because its lacking boost. it wont go dead rich because its lacking boost, fueling is proportional to the amount of air thats actually being ingested by the engine.
last week a member had a problem with low boost, tuned out to be a crappy small aftermarket air filter causing an air restriction. i doubt your actually having a problem with the boost solenoid, your low boost is a result of something else.

On my HHR turbo I had no issues with normal driving, but as soon as I did sudden accelerations, it would misfire above 3500 rpm. Changed coils, plugs and solved nothing. I also had a leak on an IC pipe. It ended up being a bad injector that, I guess, could not deliver enough fuel when needed

Well I installed my stage kit and let me tell you lol whole different car no more throttle lag, breakup and just completely better. The injector on the driver side very end was covered in gook so cleaned that and now I love it again lol
