Closed loop idle issue
Hey everyone, I am having major issues with my 05 cobalt SS SC, car has stage 2 kit and the LSJ HTV-1320 supercharger in it. The car runs mint while in open loop because it's in warm up mode, but once it starts using the computer in closed loop it bogs out and rpms range from 1000-3000and eventually sounds like a tractor, the car has been HP tuned and has a lc-1 wide band o2 sensor, I have tried every possible pressure test and the car is mint! I put New plugs in and the snap on scanner is reading that the o2s are normal, but that makes no fudging sense! The codes are rpm to high and map sensor short, I replaced the map and that did nothing. I tried unplugging the first 02 and that did nothing, tried unplugging the lc-1 02 and that did nothing, I really need help here! Any one run into this issue?? Can the innovate lc-1 wide band throw off my ecu? Please help thanks!

what's vacuum at idle?
If it's not boost leak, or sensor related. Have some one with HPTuners tune your vehicle. |

When you replaced the map did it reset the associated code?

how can I tell if it's a boost leak, at idle the supercharger is at -30 boost is that normal? I'm not use to the sc

I bet you have wiring issues if it is still showing a short for that sensor. Very well could be the cause part of your issues as well.

What kind of map sensor did you use? I replaced my supercharger inlet pressure sensor with a wells part and it actually put my car into limp mode whereas I just had a CEL on before replacement. delphi or ac delco for those sensors.
