If your question is "has someone made a stronger master clutch cylinder" then my answer would be that I doubt it. Did you get a new one and break that one too?

Its probably not the master cylinder itself. I had a similar issue with my act clutch. the steel plate that holds the master cylinder in place was broken. It has 2 tabs that are only about 1/16" thick and they tend to bend and break when you put a heavier clutch in. Id check those tabs and see how they look. That is if your master cylinder doesnt look broken
Are you turning it a 3/4 turn when instqlling it? |

The plate is available at crate engine depot if you plan to do it yourself. You have to pull out the entire dash to access it though. Theres a thread somewhere on here of a quick fix, but i dont remember what it was. If i had this issue again, i would probably rig something up to work,

And also how would I look up the part
It's there. How in the world did you go from clutch master cylinder broke in half to needing a new firewall plate? For the record the clutch master cylinder that oreilly's sells is STEEL. Yes you read right, it's made from metal. EDIT: *The one for the LNF is metal and I presume that all Cobalts take the same one. |
