Cruise Control wont work after clutch replacement
My cruise control will not work. Iv searched the forums and read about the battery reset solution but it did not work.
I dont rest my foot on the clutch. The cruise control worked fine and than I had to get my clutch replaced. I did it through a mutual friend that no longer lives in my state but Im guessing when he replaced the clutch, master, and slave cylinder, he must have forgotten to hook something back up or something like that. Does anyone have any ideas off the top of there head? What could be causing this issue. By the way, since this has happened, I have gone to engage the CC and it would say "Cruise Engaged" on the dash for a split second but then immediately dis engage. Whatever that could mean. Thanks Austin Austin |
Interesting situation, sub'd for solution.

Check brake lights for any burned out ones.
The clutch pedal switch could also be bad. I would just disconnect the battery for a couple minutes and reset everything first. |
This happened to me also. Try and put your foot under the clutch pedal and pull it up then engaging the cruise control. If it works after that then you just need to adjust your pedal ;)
When doing this just apply a little pressure (keep it there while testing) so you dont break anything |
