Um im pretty sure thats the point of brake parts cleaner is that it leaves no residue. Carb clean, brake clean, maf clean are pretty much all the same thing. Just my .02

Check the harness and see if it's grounding out somewhere. These cars seem to have wires rubbing everywhere.

Ordered a new MAF, ZZP seems to have a better price than the autozoneoreileys stores.
Should have it in a couple days, will report back

New MAF is in. Car runs like a charm. Thanks to everyone who helped. Only code left is the case learn p0315 which I tried to resolve with my interceptor but I'm having some issues.
