fried my cat :(
so yesterday was the last night i had with my car and i had 3/4 of a tank to burn well i was driving normal and next thing i know my check engine light comes on well i went to autozone and did the free test and it came up as a P0420 Reading which is for the cat. well i checked my sensor and its good, there is no oil in the exhuast and the timing is right. so i had to park it
cuz i was losing ALOT of performance. it would haul ass until it hit 5 Rmp and then it would bog heavily. cant wait to get back and possibly add a downpipe

If you wanted to go the cheap route, you could just take your downpipe off and remove the webbing material inside the cat. You would have to cut part of the downpipe where it meets the cat, then shove a long handle pry bar down in there and start removing a little at a time til you get it all out, then weld it back up where you cut it and re-install on the car.
