ok so i replaced the sway bar end links becuz of the rattle, it mainly fixed the problem, but it still rattles some what..but thats gm lol.... anyways

i have a pretty loud squeak coming from front end, like steering rack or something... its occassional,, but it got worse now..... usually happens if im going slow and once i let my foot off the gas, it squeaks oud, or sometime if i turn my wheel too...but usually after i tap the gas a little bit, and release, it squeaks. if somebody could help me out i wud appreciate it thanks!!!!

anyone know what it might be?

 

I would take a look at the area around the flex pipe and front motor mount,try rocking the motor by hand if you can to see if you can generate the noise.
Another thing you could do is rock the suspension to try and make the squeak happen.

 

i had that...i changed my control arm bushing (there is 2 per side) it was gonel, ift it and put a prybar between subframe and control arm, its normal for some play but excessive is worn bushings...hope that helps

 

i'd say its your fake "SS" emblem squeaking....

SS emblem in front is causing the base model to be off balance. Weight difference!

Are your lug nuts tight? This just happened to us earlier. It was loose lug nuts that we forgot to tighten.

 

na its way different u can hear it wen u let off the gas, i know if ur lugs arent tight its like a creeking noise the whole way def isnt that

 

I was gonna make my own thread and then I found this one while searching. I have a front end squeak as well. Like the one in the OP, but mine squeaks when I'm driving down the road also. Any Suggestions? I haven't touched the suspension in about 7 months but, I'm going to make sure everything is nice and tight tomorrow.
