Hey now that i got your attention. I need help taking apart my rear drum brake. I need it apart so i can replace one of the lug studs. So far i have my car jacked up right now and i have the 4 bolts from behind (15mm) all out. so my drum brake is resting on a block. so theirs no pressure on it. I NEED HELP TAKING IT APART. I TRIED BUT I CANT FIND THE TRICK AND I DONT WANT TO BREAK IT. please help me asap. Thank you very much for your time.

 

Whats your problem? Taking the drum piece off?

 

yea. i cant get to the middle of it.

tap the drum with a hammer... kinda hard but not to hard. It will loosen the drum and you will then be able to wiggle it off.

 

release the parking brake

 

hit it really hard with a rubber hammer then if it doesnt work use a big metal hammer
