HELP! Black stuff inside supercharger?? + Misfire!

took off the throttle body today, and noticed from the throttle body and into the supercahrger is a lot of black shoot type substacne all long the walls aof the supercharger and the tb. Ive been wiping it off all to the furthest i can reach inside the charger and the tb. What is all this? Ive been getting a misfire so i was checking to see if i wasnt leaking air anywhere, and i found this!! my scip (supercarher Inlet Pressure) has been throwing a code saying "ECM had detected that the actual measured air presuure from the SCIP sensor does not match the expected range" it gives me reasons bc of poor electric connection, open or short circuit condition. I just changed to brand new colder plugs with my 2.6 and 60s, so i know its not the plugs. The 60s are only a year old, and theyre all installed correctly without any seal leaks.. I dont think one of my coils just magically stop working, i have an 06.. they should be fine, ive checked all the wiring, and it looks normal. Im gonna get a retune in a couple weeks, so hopefully that might fix it too, i dont wanna go to the stealership. Any comments on the black crap inside the charger too?

That would be all of the dirt that the filter on your intake didn't catch lol

clean your TB, clean off your MAF sensor and your misfire should be gone...

the inside of the charger is coated in somethin that looks black. but as far as the tb that should just be dirt build up. clean it and the maf and you should be ok

Are you getting a bunch of oil back in the intake through that pressure release tube. Some people have done installed oil catch cans to prevent that.

the pressure release tube is the tube that connectws to the intake by the injen symbol correct? where can i get a oil catch can for that? How do i clean the maf sensor so i dont ruin it? thanks for the feedback. I cleaned the the tb reazlly well. On a side note too, my dumbass hasnt cleaned the air filter in 2 years... it did a double filter cleaner spray and oil today for it. Im gonna have to take off the bumber to get to the MAF, shitt

to clean maf sensor unhook battery, get to sensor, unplug it, take it out of intake tube,go to autozone, in a silver can with black writing is a spray can of" mass aif flow sensor cleaner" is like between $8-11 dollars

:) sorry brother

update though tom, cleaned out the throttle body and in the charger as muchas i could. the scip was covered in the carbon soot. its definetly comng from the intake pressure line, i could see the trace of it coming through that connection in the intake. I took out the maf, but i didnt get cleaner solution for it, i kinda just blew into it. As of allthe driving i did yesterday, i didnt get any misfire, but it doesnt mean it gone, im crossing my fingers. I checked and recleaned the spark plug chamber and the plugs. Im ordering the oil catch can today on ebay, i hope its not too bad of an install
