Help...lsj axle

how far out should the axle be from the inner half when installed? any help or pics would be thankful. I've installed rotated mounts new control arm assembly and passenger side inner joint is twisting out but still has the boot intact.

if you are not careful the axle plunge joint cross tree can move out without tearing the boot. Rotate the axle while pushing in. The plunge joint should pop back in , all going well...
