Car randomly shutting off....

Hey guys, I have an 06 SS/SC and recently the car has been randomly shutting off. When the car shuts off it kind of feels like it stalled, the dic will flash -40deg, the RPM gauge will fall and the speedo will stay consistent. If I recall, the power steering stays on, however I think one time it went out(yes i have had the recall fixed). One other note is the Wide band will show --- like it does during fuel cutoff.

I am not getting any sort of check engine light and when the car is running there doesn't seem to be any loss in performance. Most of the time I have to turn the key off and turn it back on for it to start back up. This has probably happened 5 times in the last few days. Two of which the car would not start back up. I had to wait about 5 min before the car would fire. It would try to turn over but wouldn't start. Sorta like if I ran out of gas.

So what's the deal guys? Any starting points that I can check. Is it my fuel pump? fuel filter? electrical? is the fuel pump on a relay?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Check fuses, my lnf did this. Fuse was loose on the battery in the trunk. Fixed the problem, even the dealership couldnt figure it out.

check your MAF, mine was a little dirty from changing my airbox and it used to happen to me. cleaned it off and made sure it was tight and never had a problem since.

Sounds Electrical.
Would check all the connectors on the ecm and fuse box under the hood to make sure they are seated properly.
