problems with my commuter. power feels restricted..
I have a 89 nissan sentra with about 75k miles on it... its an automatic... shifts really nice, no clunking or any of that. However.... when i drive it, it feels restricted... like not all the power is there. It can still get up to the speed limit and all, but it takes longer to do it... almost like something is holding it back. When I go up big hills it bogs down pretty bad... like it has to kick into passing gear to even make it up the hill. any ideas? my stepdad says he thinks it could be the fuel filter or the cat.... anyone else have any ideas? I think were going to replace the fuel filter this weekend and then go from there.

well i'm sure being 20 years old has something to do with it but back to basics, like you said check the filters, and all the other parts and change what needs to be changed.
