Ok, this car has had more problems than anything i have ever owned and i treat this car so good. last year around this time my crank shaft positioning sensor went out. then during the winter my rockers, timing chain, and timing chain guides went out. i have spent so much on this car and now a few days ago i was driving and my car jerked really hard and my rpms shot down to 0 and the car was still running, so i pulled over and it was idling and it kept acting like it was gonna die like it was going from 1rpm to 0.1rpms. And then it died and would not start for like 10 min. and it did the same thing to me today and from the sounds of it i sounded like it wouldnt go past 4000rpm's. and then i just parked it and said **** this car. Do you know what this could be? you think it could be the crank shaft positioning sensor again? But i think im gonna trade it in for a STI.

Do you mean that you bought a car on a salvaged title and expected everything to be perfect with the car? There must have been a reason that the car was salvaged.

I have an 07 which I got in September... would it be something that I need or is it only for older models? I sometimes get wierd RPM action when I go to put it in reverse and back up then put it back into N. Maybe its just cause I suck at going in reverse and nearly stall sometimes lol

GM will not do any warrenty work what-so-ever to a salvage history vehicle. reguardless of parts damaged or anything. and they'll know if its salvage or not whether you tell them or not when they run a VIS on it.

ill have to check on the 07's for the info...letcha know later today
