Engine problems
i HAVE NEVER HAD MORE PROBLEMS WITH A CAR THAN i HAVE WITH MY 07 SS/SC IT HAS BEEN TO THE SHOP 14 TIMES SINCE i BOUGHT IT FROM AS LITTLE AS THERMOSTAT TO A BUSTED PIN IN THE TRANS TO A BLOWN MOTOR..RIGHT NOW YOU ARE THINKING I AM A KID AND BEAT MY CAR WELL iI AM NOT I HAVE KIDS AND THEY ARE USALLY IN MY CAR..EVER SINCE THE FIRST TIME MY CAR WAS AT THE SHOP PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM HAS AROSE.. ALL THAT IS DONE TO MY CAR IS EXAUST PLUS SOME EXTERIOR STUFF MINOR NO INTAKE NO HEADER...BASICALLY STOCK..NOW THE DEALERSHIP IS REFUSING TO FIX THE PROBLEM UNTIL I GET MY RESINATOR PUT BACK IN MY EXAUST THEY SAY THAT IS THE ROOT TO MY CAR RUNNING LEAN AND THE EMMISONS PROBLEM CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG BUT ALL THE MISSING RESINATOR DOES IS MAKES THE CAR LOUD HAS NO EFFECT ON HOW MUCH AIR TO FUEL MY CAR IS GETTING..SO NEED LESS TO SAY I HAVE CONTACTED A LAWYER AND THEY ARE GONNA GO DIRECTLY TO GM AND DEMAND I BE REMBURSED FOR WHAT I PAYED ON THE CAR OR FOR THEM TO PAY THE REMAING BALLANCE SO I CAN GET A CAR THAT WORKS 14 TIMES IN 3 YEARS IS JUST A JOKE..OH AND THE LAST TIME IT BROKE DOWN I 5 HOURS FROM HOME ON A SATURDAY AFTER12 SO NO RENTAL I HAD TO PAY SOMEONE 300 DOLLARS TO COME AND PICK ME UP AND DRIVE BACK A WEEK LATER TO GET MY CAR I WAS IRATE...ANYWAY I JUST HOPE THIS ALL GETS SETTLED ONE WAY OR THE OTHER...

i am a kid that beats the **** out of my balt. i just put 100k miles on it. sorry to hear it though man. but there are no sensors after the catalytic converter. there is no way that you would be having screwy afrs from a catback. i ran my car with no catback for a while.
