Need Help!!!

Ok, I have a 2006 Cobatl ss/sc GM Stage 2. I am having a problem with over heating. The "Coolent" temp should, according to ZZP, read 150-160 NO HIGHER THAN 170. My cobalt temp was at an idle was reading 220. I understand that the IC pump is Notorious for failing at about 40,000. I currently have 55,000 and i think my pump is working. I did the trick by pinching the hose and the coolent swirled around. I was wondering id the pump is bad and only works for a min. because when the car is hot i do the same thing and nothing happens.

Im so lost for answers. Please Help!!!

Thank you.

If you are looking at the coolant temp on the DIC that's the engine coolant, which is different than the zzp temps. That is referring to your IAT2 temp, or the air after it goes through the supercharger. Only way to see those is with a scan gage.
