Need help asap
 
Hey guys
My buddy just dropped off his cobalt with a bunch of parts in a box and said here fix for me lol

Anyways I have everything put together but these parts are still in the box and I have no idea where they go...some help please

it might be the timing chain tensioner/plunger... found on the back side of the cylinder head on the passenger side.

Be more specific, What are you trying to reassemble. Transmission? Engine?

That is the chain tensioner (and associated pieces of it.) located on the back of the head and it is the old design one by the look of it. Just jump online and order and new design tensioner. A search on here will net you a part number. It would be good to upgrade that part when putting it together anyways.

Wicket thanks a lot ..there is a new one in the engine already ..had to find where it went and what it was ..thank you very much
