No crank

Started with hesitating cranks and within a day or two no crank. Turn the key to start and hear a click with no results. Held the key on start and got smoke from under the hood. Any thoughts? Posted my codes thrown from reader

Looks like there could be an issue with your crank position sensor...
Can you turn the engine by hand?

I would check to see if your alternator or A/C compressor are seized. If not, you may have some serious internal damage.

I think that’s the area where it started to smoke so I’m going to jack it up Saturday, take out the starter, and get that tested as well. Yay cars!! Lol

Fun update... replaced the starter and she started right up. Then acted like it had bad gas and the car said check charge system. I’d step on the brake pedal and my instrument panel went completely dead. Turns out my alternator is a serial killer and it murdered my startet and nuked my new battery. Got my new battery and waiting on a new alternator. They tested 3 alternators and all of them failed out of the box. Hurray for reman’s! Ugh

Yeah I don't like remaned rear calipers either anymore. The ebrake always goes out and I end up replacing it again. The last 2 times it was within 2 months of replacement.
