does the oil smell sweet? if you find more traces of oil in the antifreeze, get the car a leakdown test

usually it's the other way around a whole bunch of coolant in the oil which would be a blown headgasket. I'd still say your problem is coming from the head area just not quite sure how. I hope you're good with hand tools because if you don't wan tot go to the dealer you may be using some soon.

Dealer, Saying blown head.. My mechanic said he's never seen it this way always coolant in the oil.. So he thinks its the manifold.. Saturn $1,800 to fix out of warranty for a damn gasket + labor..

Think i'll be trading it in tomorrow see what I can get i'll clean it and what not to look clear coolant.

Or I'll try to fix this problem anyone else had this problem in the past help would be appreciated Thanks!! Brandon

If oil is in the coolant, it could just a cracked oil cooler. Korax on RLF had that problem.

you're the one that asked for help that's the first thing that comes to my mind when I heard your problem and a whole lot more common than a busted oil cooler.
your car being a little broken is no reason to trade it in you can fix it and it will cost you less money by the time you factor in how much you spent on the car, how much they're going to give you for it, parts, you've put on the car. it's just not worth trading in. unless you've got the kind of money you don't care.

my suggestion get a friend that knows more about cars than you and have them help you check the intake manifold gasket, the head gasket and possibly the head so it's not warped, and the oil cooler.

1) compression test - to check head gasket
2) cooling system pressure test - to check the radiator

did you have the dealer test anything?

what work would be done for 1800?

oil cooler would probably be more likley IMO.

It's located on the front of the motor on the drivers side, maybe have that checked out.

sounds like oil cooler since no coolant is getting into the crankcase

it would be an internal leak....the hose fitting wouldn't have anything to do with it

^Yep. Considering how out of shape that thing is, I wouldn't be surprised if it did some internal damage when it got bent.
