On the rear view mirror the LED on the far right is now RED, originally green.

The car is a brand new 2010 tc.. only 1000 miles on it.

I hit the button to speak to an advisor and they said the GPS and antenna malfunctioned so they cant track my car and I need to go to the dealership.

Anyone have this problem? The light was green this morning and now it is back to RED.

 

sounds like a problem with the gps system, take it in for free repair.

 

Mine has been red for forever lol onstar doesnt even know whats wrong lol

 

mine is red also i called onstar they told me to take my car in also....but if you hang **** from the mirror the wires get messed up and will cause a short. so if you have onstar dont hang stuff from your mirror

 

Mine has been "fixed" twice still red

 

Mine is red half the time lol.... then it will turn green after driving it for a half hour or so ......only to be red the next time i take it out of the garage .

 

Their is a good chance it loses a gps signal in the garage and has to re aquire satelites..

 

look at it this way. u can rob some bank and escape cuz they cant track u

 

Mine does this. It will be red or green for a full drive, or othertimes it will switch during my drive. Also I don't have an onstar subscription anymore...I think it was green the whole time when my subscription was active.
