P0011 & p0452 ss/tc 08

Ok guys, what are these... went to autozone, but highly dislike their scanners :P I know I did have MAP sensor light since then upgraded to 3 bar, least that codes gone. Computer was updated at ZZP.

What should I be lookin at or for? thanks!

P0011 is most likely the intake cam position sensor. It's located on the left side of the top of the valve cover. Just to the left of the spark plugs. Intake is front.

P0452 from experience is a bad purge selenoid on the intake manifold.

Both can be replace with basic hand tools in a matter of minutes.

Sorry don't have location on hand. Let me make one for you.

FYI, your arrow is pointing to the intake cam actuator solenoid, NOT the cam position sensor. I think you're right that the code refers to the solenoid and not the position sensor, but they are very different parts. You can check the solenoid with an ohmmeter. I have a used one for sale if you need.

This is correct. The intake cam actuator solenoid that I show is what needs to be replaced. Good Catch.
