service traction, brake lights stuck on

ok so i have been searching for good info for a while now on this problem and i just can't figure it out, first off when i start my car my traction control light comes on, along with the message on dic saying service pretty much everything on the car lol (at least the stuff associated with the traction light), i will disconnect my battery tomorrow for a while and see if that helps, also my when i put my e-brake down, all 3 brake lights come on and stay on (maybe a short?) any info on either problem? anyone experienced with this? btw i have an 08 ss/tc if that helps

my cousins 2008 Saturn Sky Redline did this. Service traction would come on then the brake lights would stay on, went to Saturn in Paramus NJ like 3 times and they couldnt figure it out cuz they suck optimus prime ****. Then he took it to Saturn in Wayne, NJ and they replaced the brake pedal positioning sensor.

if its saying messages and lights are coming on, should be setting codes. Have it scanned. I would lean towards a bad brake switch, but thats just guessing.

Check your manual. I have an ion so I'm not going to bother putting what mine says. But your manual does state the reasons why your ebrake light stays on after taking it off.

It's not a matter of education,
Some people's brains naturally do not process written or even spoken language as effectivly as most, or "normal"

This phenomon is known as Dyslexia, aka "Reading Disorder"

Wow, way to be rude. People do misread things every now and then jackass. I saw that it said your brake lights stayed on after you took the ebrake off. First time I read it I thought you meant your indicator light. Not exactly sure why you had to be an ass to me when all I tried to do was give a helpful suggestion. And if you are going to give me **** about going to school for not being able read correctly, then how about you use correct punctuation and capitalization. Just saying...
