p0101 and holding little boost.

I know this may be posted every now and then but i never find someone else with the same problems. I let my roommate drive my 2009 LNF to lunch for about an hour and when he came back he said that the car wasnt getting more than 3.5 psi. So i went and drove it and a check engine light came on for a p0101, which is mass air flow sensor oriented. So i was hoping it would be something simple such as a loose clamp or perhaps a dirty sensor. The air filter was dirty so i replaced that and i cleaned out the mass air flow sensor good but to no avail. I was working at a dealership so i had one of my tech friends check it out and he couldnt find any sort of boost leak. I can actually unplug the ECU and plug it back in and the boost will hit at least an 8 before gradually getting worse. 1st gear i can get about 3 psi. 2nd gear hit the 8 then after holding it it drops boost and the light comes back on after clearing it. any gear after that will hold 3.4 psi. I want to believe it is a short in the wiring somewhere. The only mod the car has in the engine is the Injen Charge Pipe. I have looked multiple times and everythings tight. I have checked the MAP sensor, Vacuum lines, and everything else that could set the light off. Everything checks out. And if it would be an intercooler i dont think it would hold any boost whatsoever. I really think it is a short. Also ever since i got the car it has had weird security issues. I can lock the car when im finished driving and the hazards will flash but they wont be on...its odd. it happens a bit while driving but after a while it goes off and i can constantly hear a blinker like sound coming from the dash. So it might be a ton of electrical malfunctions i need to have looked at. i already took it to my local chevy dealer and they insisted i pay them 250$ to replace the sensor i insisted would not fix the problem. so after a week of me not having my car they finally call me and tell me the lights off and they fixed the problem. immediately after driving it off the lot the boost is as described above. and after driving it for 10 minutes the same codes popped right back up. so i called them and they still said to replace the sensor. so i bought my own from the local parts store for 50$ and popped it in in less than 1 minute. called the dealership to tell them what i already knew....it didnt fix my problem. i dont really want to take it back to them because they really arent that good at what they do. as ive said above, I think that the silent security system installed on the car and the fact that resetting my ecu helps the boost briefly that its an electrical short. i almost considered piggy backing the MAF to the ECU directly but that would void warranty i have for 3 years and i like free things.

So........let's look at the facts here:
1). Car was running fine before your stupid, adolescent, ******** of a roommate drove it.
2). You actually let your stupid, adolescent, ******** of a roommate drive it.
3). Your roommate didn't tell you he either bottomed out the front of the car or let off the gas from full throttle and heard a sound much like a balloon letting off air.
4). You have a cracked intercooler or a pipe that popped off somewhere.

I see a lot of I checked the pipes and stuff but no I actually did a boost leak test. Let me educate u a little op. I have had every pipe on my car and every clamp on good and tight and everything look fine, but after running an actual boost leak test with an actual boost leak tester, that u can make for 5 bucks or buy for 20, I found multiple leaks and sown big ones. If ur clamp is crooked it can leak, if it's a turn or 2 loose, it will leak. U can even look at it at the inter cooler , it seems fine but if u actually get under the car while leak testing , it's not even tight and barly connected. Do a boost leak test. And triple check the pipe connected to turbo. Also, take off bumper and check inter cooler for crack. Bet that's ur issue
