rough idle / random misfire w/ low gas

car seems to idle worse and kinda run worse part throttle with the gas around 1/4 and lower. cant' tell a difference at wot.

anyone ran into this before. i get the random misfire code a lot with the 60s but i also got it with the 42s, but it seems to go off after i fill up and after a while comes back on

anyone seen anything like this before? i put a new fuel filter on it a while ago but ive never done anything with the pump or checked pressure

First thing that comes to mind is sediment, but that only happens when you get bad gas which is pretty uncommon. Try running a can or two of Seafoam on your next 2 fills ups and see if there's any improvement.

I'd think fuel starvation problems would to cause you problems at WOT instead of low demand situations like you are experiencing. Are you throwing any codes besides misfire? I wonder if faulty EVAP system could potentially cause those symptoms.

I tried a new evap solenoid on the motor but not the one in/ by the tank....

I wonder if it's the cheesy intake I have making it do this???

Has any of the china intake copied a good one yet??? 200-300 bucks for some bent pipe is outrageous

There are eBay ones that look pretty close for 50-70

Intake could easily throw your MAF reading off. Not because it's a bad intake but because the MAF is sensitive.

With the MAF that close to the end/air filter your MAF readings could definitely be skewed especially with the bend right before.

You don't have anyone that can tweak your tune or at least take a look?

No, it didn't have this p0300 until I got the 60s and tune it's either intake or tune related. The hesitation between gears shifts was fixed when with new tune and injectors but then the p0300 started at idle.... There was no cell with the gm stg 2 but it did run crappy. It runs great now except the idle misfires which you can only really tell by the cell

I think someone is going to buy it today tho for 4000.

I'm looking at a 04 gto for 8000 that's pretty nice

.well see
