Reduced Engine Power but car runs fine.
 

Driving today and a check engine light came on. Dash read REDUCED ENGINE POWER. I've read about this happening to others and how the car goes into limp mode not going above 40mph. But my car runs fine. Boosts normally. Drives like nothing is wrong. I'm going check to see what the code is tomorrow. But should I be worried? 62000 miles. ZZP 3 inch cold air and tune done using HPTuners.

shouldnt have any boost if your engine went into reduced power mode. probably a missfire. should probably data log your tune if you have HPtuners and lets some peeps look at it. see what the fuel trims are doing

When my dash read ENGINE POWER REDUCED the engine functioned normally. I revved it and it revved strong. No hesitation. Drove it home and was able to hit sixty normally. Drove it now and did eighty on the freeway. Check engine light is on and it's a P1618 code. ECM issue I was told by the gentleman who tuned my ride.
