Reliable Mechanic/Shop

So I bought a few parts for my 2010 SS. I need a place that can install all of it that is reliable, and wont be ridiculously expensive. I got a Powell PCV and a Powell Harness bar. I would also like to get everything media blasted since I am getting the PCV installed.

I know these are not extremely difficult to install, but I am about to have my 3rd kid, all under 5yo. I am also in the middle of 3 house projects, so I really do not have the time.

I am in North Orange County so I am sure there are plenty of places. Anaheim, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, etc.

Any help would be great.

I'm in the same shoes in NY. Working way too much and have a million other family things going on to spend time on the car. I worry about having someone else work on it.

No suggestions but since they're "performance" parts I doubt most regular shops will touch it.

I'm sure you'll need to find a performance shop.

Why do you feel like you'll get an answer for your specific location on a forum that's international?

Use google, search for shops in your area, read reviews and make a decision. Maybe try local forums.

But like I said this isn't a regular job. Most shops only want to deal with OEM remove replace type work. So you'll probably have to spend more per hour to get a "race" shop to do it.

I know there are a lot of guys on this site that are in SoCal. This site has been extremely helpful in the past, so the second post on here was more of a bump then anything. I was just hoping for a few recommendations.

This site really isn't that active these days, and I can't think of any of the regulars that is in socal. And if someone does pop in, they more than likely don't have a shop to recommend. You'll have to do like we did back in the day, get on the horn and ask them.

You'll have better luck asking Facebook

Just go to the dealership. They have the best resources and tools to work on your car. Don't try to save $ 20/hr. by going to some backwoods mechanic unless you know for a fact that they know what they're doing.

Those are cake items. Installed my harness bar in less than an hour. Can do it yourself

Honestly Powell can send instructions for the harness bar install, and oil separator and neither take real long to do. A dealership would struggle with them because they aren't "factory" items. Walnut blasting isn't hard either but it's time consuming and messy. There again most dealerships may not be doing it.
Trevor jolley has a shop in California but I'm not sure where. On here he was tjolly or something like that, but he flicked to Facebook. Lately he has been working on Foximus road race car so you may message him and he could point you in the right direction
He has a thread going-Phoenix rises again- or something like that. Trevor has a good reputation and knows these cars well.
