Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Reverse lights don't work.

So my reverse lights don't work. Bulbs are fine and fuse is fine what could it be?

have you tried turning it off and back on?
disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it.

Brand new and I can see the filiments are fine.

Well if the fuse is fine, then it's probably going to be the reverse switch. You can check for power at the fuse, then check for power at the reverse switch(pink wire), and then check for power at the bulb(light green wire).

Yup tried all that. I will look at getting a switch they ae cheap enough to get.

To be sure, you can try to jump the wires at the switch and see if they'll work.

or see if there is power going to the switch, put it in reverse, and see if there is any power coming out of the switch

Reverse sensor on top of trans. NAPA carries the replacement. Easy fix.

You need an oxygen sensor socket to get it out and in though.
Also, do not torque the **** out of it.

oxygen sensor = 7/8 wrench or a 22mm wrench or a many sixteenths wrench aka adjustable wrench

It has to be an extra deep one though. If you use a socket you do not have to take anything else out. Long extension and the magnet in it holds the switch in place. Makes it a 30 second job.
