Service Airbag Soon (recent seat swap)

So I just got done swapping my LS seats for some leather SS ones. Well we ran into the issue where the passenger seat on the SS one didn't have the set up for the passenger airbag (the thing under the seat). Alright no big deal we just removed it from the other seat and are going to set it up some time during the week.

Well I turned my car on to go for a spin and it says Service Airbag Soon and has the red light lit up. Now is that because my passenger side one or is there something with the drivers side other than the one connector that I did not know about my LS ones?

Anyone done a seat swap from the weight sensor seat to a non weight sensor one?

Nope. I did a search and found out you can do the swap of the seat weight sensor. I am going to assume that is the reason why the airbag light is on. I just hope I am right.....

I have done this already in my Redline. The light is on because there is no sensor plugged in under the seat.

I assume you have an 07? lol

Looks like it was just because I started the car without the connectors at lease plugged in. Started it up today and no light.

Good times.
