Shift Cable Adjustment
Set the parking brake.
Remove the cup holder.
(Picture with Arm rest and arrows pointing up)
Lift and unlock the shift cable retainers.
(Picture with arrow facing shifter boot, and clip disengaged)
Push the shifter neutral lock clip.
Move the shifter slightly in order to center the lock clip.
Ensure that the transmission is in neutral.
(Picture with armrest, arrow pointing down)
Press and lock the shift cable retainers.
(Picture with clip reengaged)
Pull the shifter neutral lock clip to its original position.
Install the cup holder.

yeah, that. i think mine may be a little off, since I installed the short throw. it slipped from my marks, but i don't have any grinding.
once in a while it comes back out of third.
