Squeek when starting car.
 

Ok, so. Occasionaly when i start my car, i hear a squeek. It does it at times when i turn to acc to prime the fuel pump.


So, im pretty sure its something in the fuel system thats not liking something.


Once the car starts/after the original squeek...no issues. the squeek happens once in a while. so im sure something is about to take a shit on me.


has anyone else had this?

You really didnt say where the sound is originating from.

thats the thing, im not sure. it sounds like the engine bay to me...but others say its from the rear.

It happens when I,

A turn the key to let the fuel prime. If the fuel is primed, it will not do happen.

B. Actually start the car. If i've been driving for a bit, it will not happen.

C. Turn the car off.

Sometimes its a short squeek, other times its long (about a sec long)

My best guess would be the fuel pump ,if it happens with nothing running but the fuel pump what else could it be.
