My car has been having some issues starting the past couple weeks and it doesn't seem to be going away. I checked both the battery and alternator and that doesn't seem to be the issue.

It chokes for a few seconds when finally starting so im suspecting my fuel pump but this all seems to have started after running my car in the rain a few times which leads me to also suspect that my MAF could be the problem.

I am going to clean my MAF on monday and hopefully that helps and if it does, how can I prevent it from getting water on it in the future. I have aftermarket headlights that have a slightly bigger gap than the stock lights did which is where I think that water is getting in.

Any other members that have had this issue speak up
