Strange Vibrating....?....

Ok so some of you all ready know that my car has been in the shop for the same problem a few times with no possitive results just more miles on my car but it is going in again. Every avenue we have taken at the GM dealership has been a dead end and I would like to see if you all have any Ideas. Well my car during accreleration tends to "vibrate" sometimes and it pretty much shakes the whole car! We have looked at injectors to see if it may be missfiring but nothing...MAF we checked and nothing....Tune we checked and nothing....It does not do it all the time...if I go easy it is ok and if I go WOT it is just about not there....but anything in between the car goes nuts and starts throwing a temper tantrum and I have to let off the gas let it chill out (almost imediately) then when I get on the gas again I am ok not vibs....I am wondering if I have a bad engine or tranny mount somewhere....It is all I can think of right now...I am taking it in with the current mods on it....hopefully they will not flip...The only thing I did since they last saw it was the 2.85 pulley and the cat-back system. So any Ideas on the problem? I want my "good Ol Car" back...... So they get to look at my car on Friday.....hopefully we can figure something out

Bump for any info...

What is your TD set at? Does this happen when you are coasting with the clutch off? Is it a jerky sort of back and forth motion?

TD is set to what I recieved it as...No it does not happen when I am coasting only when I apply the gas peddle and it started happening about 4 months ago before all mods but CAI and TD. So I know and the dealer knows that the mods did not do it...You do not think the TD could have F@cked up anything do you?

happened to me, was a broken mount and a bad cv joint. check your mounts now. if i didn't fix it when i did, i would have dropped the engine. like literally, go check them now. if you're at work take a brake and do it in the daylight.

not trying to scare you, but that was exactly what mine did and the problem, and if that's the case you shouldn't be driving.

that was my next thought. The mount I mean. I would be surprised if they (the dealer) did not catch something like that tough but stranger things have happened.

I will check today after I get off work my car is literaly parked about 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile away from where I work...would these be covered under war.? And thanks for the suggestion I mentioned something to "Rick" the guy at the GM Dealership and he negated that that was the problem saying it could not be. What am I looking for when I look at these?

if he's saying it can not be, it's one of 3 things:

1) you're not explaining it fully
2) he doesn't know what he's talking about
3) He checked the mounts and ruled that out

The mounts are what holds the engine in place. if one of them becomes loose, or broken, the engine will shake like crazy when accelerating. won't do it too much at a steady speed, but when speeding up, and will be more noticeable in higher gears. i would look for cracks, make sure the bolts are tight, make sure the bushings are intact. if they are then it's not the mounts.

if all checks out, look at the axles.

So it is not the mounts took my car in and I am misfiring on 1,3, and 4 cylinders. Coming up with mainly P0300 code. They are going to replace my ignition control module next week to see if that helps. I knew there was something wrong when I could not keep up with a Stock SRT-4 with 3 people in it...lol...hopefully this works my car has been suckin for the past 4 months...Anyone else had this problem?

p0300 is random cylinder misfire. try switching to NGK BRK7E spark plugs gapped at .38
It fixed the problem for me.
