tail light problem

ok so tonight when i went to go out my tail lights didnt come on so i turned the car off and then back on. That did nothing and then i tried to see if the brake lights worked and they worked just didnt have the light that stays on on so i have brake lights but no tail lights that stay on

probably the low setting on the bulb went out, i'd guess. just like when a 2 or a 3 way light bulb in your house goes out, only 1 of the settings won't work, while the other one(s) will be fine.

just remembered that when i was rehooking up my halos yesterday the drivers side one sparked in the middle of hooking it upo because my friend stupidly turned on the car while i was in the middle of hooking them up but my headlights work fine just not the tails

Check the fuse then,Under the hood 15 amps marked PRK LPS
Do your side marker lights come on (yellow ones) if so the fuse is okay and it will be one filiment in the two filiment bulb.
Try changing the bulbs .
If that doesnt solve it repost and I will try to assist you further.

ok update on this got new bulbs and nothing side lamps dont work either and the spedometer cluster has no lights either the miles thing works and it works right just has no lights

The cluster lights will go out when the park lights go out, lets you know something is wrong with your lights because how many of us can see the back of our cars from the seat?

PRK LMP fuse is the one you want, should get them all going again

Check the fuses first.

They should be on the passenger side in the center console.

Get a fuse tester, it's much faster and they are cheap.

yepp thats what it was switched the fuse and now halos and tails work idk about the spedometer though ill check that tinight but when the halos sparked it blew the fuse for the parking lamps

yeah makes sense didnt think about it like that though but thats a smart thing to put on the car
