^ Wow, I didn't expect the rewiring to be that straight forward... you just split the two reference wires and then attach them to the appropriate terminal...

holy crap this came in good timing LOL. been asking Hunterkiller and other people what to do cause i bought the same adapter for the lsj TB. paid like 70 bucks... looks like i should of just rewired my stock one cause i gotta do rewiring anywayz...

so dont worry about two extra 2 wires on the adapter??
i got a pic on my build, click in my sig. the adapter still has 8 wires, thought it would of had 6.

Every wire needs to be hooked up.

Here's a quick diagram of what you need to do:

i am getting a dtc code for cruise related and my car will randomly slowly raise rpm when im driving in neutral or with the clutch enguaged.

What's the exact DTC code? And have you checked for vacuum leaks? Is this for a supercharge build or are you putting an LSJ TB on your N/A 2.2?

redcobalt07 05-12-2010 10:08 PM

how do you know which pin is A, B, C and so forth

so wait, you don't even need to buy that 8 pin adapter thing for $70? you can simply rewire it like this?

I should hope you always drive with the clutch engaged, otherwise you wont get power to the wheels....

As for driving in Neutral.. Hmm..... ???

... Or perhaps you mean when you DISengage (press) the clutch, or are in Neutral. And yes my car randomly searches for RPMs too at idle. It's a common problem caused by a dirty throttle valve. I plan on cleaning mine tomarrow acually. There is a howto or sticky about it somewhere on the sight.
