Question timing chain clicking........ suggestions on where to buy parts from...?

Took car in today due to getting tired of the clicking noise on startup and it was getting more noticeable.... Mechanic checked it and said it will be better to replace the whole timing set.... Would this Cloyes 9-4201S Multi-Piece Timing Kit:Amazon:Automotive be good?? Or do I need to go with this one... LSJ L61 Timing Chain Base Set CEDLSJBTC.... Help....lol
I already have a revised tensioner ,front cover and bolt from CED

I don't know, but its good the kits come with new chains because I know those stretch over time and the guides can break but the actual tensioner should be a recall atleast

To replace the chain and guides you have to take the cover off the passanger side of the engine

there is a TSB about this issue, which tells the technicians exactly what is needed to resolve the issue. The reason there is no recall is because it is not an issue that potentially puts lives at risks, such as the leaking fuel line, or the power steering loss.

You don't need to replace the timing chain, although if you're looking to spend more money, go ahead.

dude, change the tenstioner yourself....it's not that hard, and there's no other part you need to replace.
