Torque Specs for Brake Caliper Bolts?
Is there a specific torque specification for brake caliper bolts? I'm painting my calipers and I want to make sure I attach them right. I kind of need my brakes. ;)
I did the first wheel, and I just made them very snug. I tried to match it to how hard they were to take off. Is that ok? |

Is this right?
Guide bolts are the first picture. Caliper Brakcet Bolts are the second picture. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...2/DSC01836.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...2/DSC01838.jpg Right? No wonder the bracket bolts were so much harder, they get torqued more than triple that of the guide bolts. |
Yep you got it.
