trunk lock
 
my trunk lock it very loose and it comes out like 3 or 4 cm. does anyone else have this problem its really annoying

the clip has fallen off, its like a big horse shoe looking u-clip

3-4 cm .....either learn the metric system, or your lock will come completely out!

no body asked for your bullshit my lock wouldn't come completely out it would come out just enough to were you can get a good grip on it with your fingers. and thanks Jeffery for helping me out. psyko your post didn't help at all maybe next time you can post something useful not some bullshit criticism.

im not sure of the term but generally they are a horse shoe style retaining clip that is arched to put tension against teh lock cylinder and trunk lid at the same time...either way good luck :twothumbs
