trunk lock
 

my trunk lock it very loose and it comes out like 3 or 4 cm. does anyone else have this problem its really annoying

the clip has fallen off, its like a big horse shoe looking u-clip

3-4 cm .....either learn the metric system, or your lock will come completely out!

no body asked for your bullshit my lock wouldn't come completely out it would come out just enough to were you can get a good grip on it with your fingers. and thanks Jeffery for helping me out. psyko your post didn't help at all maybe next time you can post something useful not some bullshit criticism.

im not sure of the term but generally they are a horse shoe style retaining clip that is arched to put tension against teh lock cylinder and trunk lid at the same time...either way good luck :twothumbs

and OP, i believe the ring holding on the trunk lock is loose or fell off

ha you asshole if you didnt mean it in that kind of way sorry but ive seen alot of assholes on here that just was things that arnt needed and done help.

if you need that clip then let me know, i have one in my toolbox
