Fuel filter change

Has anyone changed out the fuel filter? It looks like the engine end is part of the fuel line running forward!! How involved is this?

The fuel filter isn't serviceable. Its part of the fuel feed line to the engine and is meant to last the life of the vehicle *coughfuelpumpcough*.

*looks up fuel filter replacement* I'll be damned. That's the most goofy design.. putting the quick connect actually in the filter.

I stand corrected. Guess I should pay more attention next time I have the car on a lift.

Malacypse,
Are you saying that the end that looks like its a perminant part of the filter is actually a snap-in connector???

Anyone got pictures??

I think that's how they've done it. Next time I change the oil I'll take a look.

Will my stock fuel filter work with Stage 2... or do I need to buy a High-Flo filter?

Major-

Did you get a bad tank of fuel or did someone dump junk in your tank?

Also what model do you have?
