Whats Cel are you getting.
Try and get the code to better help you figure out whats causing it.

CobaltVenomSS Oct 11, 2007 12:26 AM

yea if it comes on again tomorrow i was gonna head to autozone before work

XM15 Oct 11, 2007 12:27 AM

Even if the light isn't on, since it has come on several times the code will probably be there. Get it checked anyways.

CobaltVenomSS Oct 11, 2007 12:29 AM

anybody know what it might be?

Smitty1017 Oct 11, 2007 03:30 AM

maybe its that one you get from not closing the gas cap tight enough?

CobaltVenomSS Oct 11, 2007 01:05 PM

There's 4 different DTC's on the fuel level sensor.

P0461 Fuel Level Sensor Performance

P0462 Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

P0463 Fuel Level Sensor Circuit High Voltage

P0464 Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Intermittent

CobaltVenomSS Oct 11, 2007 02:10 PM

Novajoe Oct 11, 2007 03:16 PM

you should try getting us the code so we can tell you what the problem might be...

CobaltVenomSS Oct 13, 2007 01:41 PM

i finally got it checked out...they said its a cylinder misfire

silentd Oct 13, 2007 01:42 PM

time for new gas or plugs... are you running a step colder?

bykryder83 Oct 14, 2007 04:20 AM

i have the same code po300 random multiple cylinder misfire wtf is that i have a 2.2 btw it would come on sometimes but tonight i put the cams in and its all the time i think its a bad o2 or something

Novajoe Oct 14, 2007 10:54 AM

can you give us the specific code? Is it a random misfire or a single cylender misfire?

On these car's it's impossible for a bad O2 to cause a random misfire. If there's an O2 code then it won't allow the P0300 to set.

You just replaced your camshafts... I'm guessing you mean aftermarket cams right? You more than likely need to make timing adjustments for them.
