Where in the **** do i ground my amp?!?!

Hey setting up 2 12"er's today and wondering i lf i could get a quick response to where in the heck i could ground the amp?? Thanks Chris

PS its in the trunk...

I drilled a hole and scraped off some paint on my trunk floor under the carpet, works good. If ur gonna go my route, make sure you dont drill into the gas tank.

Ya i decided to drill a hole on the ground 'tower' ,if you will, the the neg. battery cable goes to.....she thumps pretty good. Setup: 2 12" Prestige woofers, custom box, 300W amp, 4 gauge wiring kit

Shweet! i bought mine because it came with my head unit.
Head unit- Pioneer AVH-6800DVD ($1400 new!!)
Some backup cam..
Alpine 500w amp
Kaption 12" sub
MTX Box
idk about my wires, their pretty fuggin thick tho.
Bought whole package off kijiji for i think 350 or 400

If you have an LSJ/LNF ground it to the same bolt used to ground the battery it's a piece of cake since it's in the trunk

No, thats too easy.
Haha yeah its so easy its worth it. Obviously you don't need that much power wire so I used that to make the ground wire longer and just wired it to the battery. I also cut the stock ss sub harness and used a LOC to that. works awesome. So good its unbelievable.

Grounded mine on the tail light stud. Easiest way to do it. Im pretty sure i read somewhere before that you should not ground an amp on ur battery but dont quote me on it

I do it on the stud the battery is grounded to, not directly to the battery.

ground should be no longer than 12 inches from the amp.

I grounded mind on one of the bolts for the right side latch that holds the back seat up.
