popping noise in rear of car
hi i have a 2010 cobalt ss and for some reason the car has made a popping noise since about 2 months after i bought it. The noise started at 6,000 miles and I currently have 12,600 miles. I bought the car in april of this year. The noise would occur at either low or high speeds. After several trips to the dealer they decided it was the rear seat panel on the drivers side that made the noise. The panel did no good as it still occurred so finally i took it to another dealer and they found the noise that it made at high speeds (it was wires in the headliner that had come loose), they taped the wires back up. BUT i still have the noise at lower speeds like if i turn into my subdivision or if i go over small bumps and stuff like that. Any idea what it could possibly be? My guess is its something small.

i have a bad noise in mine in the rear now. sounds like the wing vibrating when i go over bumps. i took it to the dealer and that said one of my rear control axle bushings are gone...

I apologize that you are experiencing a knocking. I would be happy to get you in contact with your local dealership so that this can be looked into. If this is something you would like me to assist you with, please reach out via PM with your full contact information, VIN, current mileage, and involved dealership.
Sincerely,
