Only issue I have had has been at high speeds lately when I took off the torque dampner and left on the anti wheel hop trans mounts. The car on acceleration at high speeds was pulling to the left. I thought that it was the winter tires I put on or the taking the torque dampner off. But now I begining to wonder.

The article on the auto blog tend to suggest that it is base models 05-08 and SS models 08-09.

Well see.

So, is this a full blown recall? Will the dealerships know what needs to be done if we call?

Its not a recall yet, but its bound to happen. Mine went out ... most of yours will. Give it until 65k

I sure hope it is. Has been a few recalls. Its bound to happen for a few, but a power steering pump? Just lemon parts from the dealer it seems. The intake for the SS/TC was somewhat suprising. For a second round production and new engine.. just a few bugs. Too bad they wont get a chance to make it right the first time.
