RPM Rev fix

My source at GM says there is a cal fix for this that went to the dealers in June. The stage kit cals already had the fix in them. Go to the dealer and ask for a cal update to fix the problem.

Warranty in Canada - Stage 2

I spoke with a contact at GM and if you have a GM dealer install your Stage 2 GM kit all manufacture's warranty still applys and is still valid.

Your dealer calls in and gives them your S/N and VIC number and the "system" downloads the cal to a tech 2. Then the tech hooks the tech 2 to your car and it reprograms. I watch the dealer do this...

PARTEC line has been updated for the kit part numbers. This was done when the kits went on sale on 3/30/06. Also ther is an N note listed electronically with part number in service data base.

Standard Install Time

I checked and there is a standard install time of 1 hr on the stage 1 and 1.5 hrs on the stage 2. Your dealer can call the PARTEC line to verify.

I checked with GM and Stage 1 has a standard install of 1 hr. Stage 2 has a standard install of 1.5 hours. Tell you dealer to call the PARTEC line for confirmation.

Stage 1 & 2 Injectors

The injectors are 5.3 gms/sec flow. The stock injectors are 4.3 gms/sec. That translates to about 42 lbs/hr. Stock injectors are about 34 lbs/hr.
