Anyone use Armor All Extreme Shield Wax?

This is the new stuff advertised on TV with Tony Stewart and a Camaro. Just bought some a few days ago and did a full detail on my car (wash/dry/claybar/polish/wax). Took about 10+ hours this time. I mainly did it because this is my first experience with claybar. I also applied the Armor All wheel repellant spray on the wheels. It's a great product!

Anyway, I just applied the wax and it seems to work exceptionally well. The water just beads off of it and runs off of it effortlessly. I'm pretty pleased with it. However, for those looking for a wax to give you a smooth finish, this isn't it. It's not as smooth as I'd have liked.

Just wondering how long this stuff lasts. I'd like to think the only washing I have to do from here on out is just hosing it off for awhile. The car is mostly garaged and not our in the sun so I'm hoping I'm good at least until it's time to put it away for the winter.

i have not used this stuff yet. with almost any wax though its good to do it around 3 times a year depending how often yo uwash the car/how often its out in the rain getting dirty

i garage my car but daily drive it so i wind up washing it once or twice a week, and no matter how carefully u wash u start losing that wax coating by washing it off and leaving little scratches. so i wax (or do a full detail like you described) 3-4 times a year

oh and ftr i like mothers/turtle wax prodcuts but i think its all just preferance/shiny labels

Any good pics of ur car/closeups of the paint?

Came out ok actually. I'd do it again. Here's a few photos:

I'll have to take some more shots soon with close ups.
